Kurs ima za cilj da pruži informacije o raznim veštinama koje su od suštinskog značaja za razvoj naučnoistraživačke karijere. Kurs je nezavisan od bilo koje naučne discipline, fokusirajući se više na filozofiju koja je potrebna da se ostvari uspešna karijera u istraživanju, bez obzira na predmet istraživanja.
Karijera u nauci je u velikoj meri bazirana na percepciji kvaliteta publikacija koje istraživač (ili tim istraživača) nudi svojim kolegama i javnosti. Ako su ove publikacije brojne i visokog kvaliteta, dovešće do grantova za istraživanje i pune zaposlenosti.
Kurs će biti održan na engleskom jeziku i dostupan online preko video stream-a.

Lecturer - Prof. Dr Steve Quarrie
|
Prof. Dr Steve Quarrie has been a research scientist for nearly 50 years. For much of his UK-based research career he managed multi-partner international consortia of researchers, and has published his research in many of the leading journals in the plant sciences.
He teaches general research skills to PhD students at the Faculty of Biology, Belgrade University, including modules on good quality research and scientific writing, and for many years has given training courses to researchers around Europe on aspects of general research skills. Last year he gave training courses on these topics to PhD students and young researchers in Spain, Slovenia and Montenegro, as well as Serbia. He has also been a visiting Professor at the Schools of Biology and Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, and the Business School, Newcastle University, UK. His papers have been cited more than 2.000 times.
